CAT6 and CAT6a cable on the roll and in patch leads, RJ45 connectors, keystone jacks, patch panels and face plates. Outdoor runs need UV-resistant outer sheath and, for anything between buildings, proper surge protection — a lightning strike on an unprotected run will take out every switch port it reaches. Solid-core cable is for permanent runs in walls and conduit; stranded patch cable is for the last metre to a device, because solid core breaks when it is flexed repeatedly.
