Terms & Conditions

These are the terms on which we sell. Where anything below is unclear, ask us before you order rather than after — the phone number at the bottom of this page is answered.

These terms apply when you buy from dotpk.pk, trading as Orbit Smart Solutions, G3 Ibrahim Center, Usman Market, Hall Road, Lahore.

1. Ordering

Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a concluded contract. The contract forms when we confirm the order. We may decline an order — a pricing error, stock that has gone, an address we cannot deliver to, or a history of refused cash-on-delivery parcels — and if we do, you pay nothing.

No account is needed. You order with a name, a mobile number and an address.

2. Prices

All prices are in Pakistani Rupees. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout, including the delivery charge, and nothing is added afterwards.

Prices change, sometimes daily, and a price in a screenshot, a cached page or an old WhatsApp message is not binding. Where a listed price is obviously wrong we will contact you rather than dispatch or silently cancel.

There is a minimum order value, shown in the cart.

3. Stock

Stock figures are live and a variant showing zero is genuinely zero. Adding something to your cart does not reserve it; stock is committed when the order is placed. If an item sells out between your order and our confirmation, we will offer an alternative or cancel that line.

4. Payment

Cash on delivery and bank transfer only. There is no card payment, no wallet and no payment gateway. See payment methods.

A bank-transfer order is dispatched once the payment has been matched to it, which is why we ask for the receipt. Ownership of the goods passes when payment is received in full.

5. Delivery

Same-day inside Lahore before the afternoon cut-off; courier elsewhere. Delivery estimates are estimates — the courier network is outside our control and we do not accept liability for a delay within it. See the shipping policy.

Risk in the goods passes on delivery. This is why we ask you to check the parcel at the door and film opening it.

6. Product information

We take care over specifications and photographs, and manufacturers change both without notice. Some of our specifications are drawn from the manufacturer's own published material. If a particular specification decides your purchase, ask us to confirm it against the actual stock before ordering and we will check the unit.

Photographs are illustrative. Where a product is stocked in more than one version, the photograph may show a different one.

7. Warranty

We do not provide our own warranty. Every warranty is the manufacturer's and every claim goes to their authorised service centre. See the warranty policy, which is the clause most worth reading before you order.

8. Returns

Returns are accepted for a defective, damaged or incorrect item. The problem must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with an unboxing video, and the product returned within 7 days, with the packaging and the product both undamaged. We do not accept returns for a change of mind. See the return policy — the reporting window is short, and it is stated plainly for that reason.

9. Advice, and the absence of an installation service

We sell equipment. We do not install it. No order includes fitting, wiring, commissioning or configuration on site, and nothing on this website should be read as offering those.

We do give advice about what a site needs, and we give it freely — see choosing a CCTV system. That advice is given in good faith on the information available to us, usually a description or a photograph rather than a survey. The final decision, and responsibility for what a system is expected to achieve once installed, rests with the customer and with whoever fits it.

10. Using this site

Do not attempt to break into it, scrape it at a rate that degrades it, or submit deliberately malformed data. Public forms are rate-limited and refused submissions are logged. We may block an address or a phone number that abuses the shop.

11. Intellectual property

The text, layout and original photography on this site are ours. Manufacturer product photographs and trade marks belong to those manufacturers and are used to identify the goods we sell. You may not copy our product copy for a competing catalogue.

12. Liability

Our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — for example, loss of business or loss of stock arising from equipment failure, a missed recording, or a camera that was pointing the wrong way.

Security equipment reduces risk; it does not remove it. Nothing we sell is a guarantee against theft or damage, and nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Pakistani consumer law.

13. Changes to these terms

We may change them. The terms that apply to your order are the ones published when you placed it.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan and the courts of Lahore have jurisdiction.
