Hikvision DS-2CE16D0T-IRF 2MP HD Analogue Bullet Camera

SKU DS-2CE16D0T-IRF DS-2CE16D0T-IRF

The Hikvision DS-2CE16D0T-IRF is a 2MP Turbo HD bullet camera that wires straight into an existing coax CCTV system. It records 1080p, sees about 25 metres in the dark on Smart IR, and switches between TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS so it works with almost any analogue DVR already on site.

About this product

The cheapest honest way to get 1080p out of coax that is already on the wall. No network cable, no PoE switch, no re-run — the DVR downstairs already speaks this camera's language.

The Hikvision DS-2CE16D0T-IRF is a 2MP Turbo HD bullet camera for analogue CCTV. It sends 1920 × 1080 at 25/30 fps down existing coaxial cable, reaches about 25 metres in complete darkness on Smart IR, and switches between TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS on the camera itself — which is why it pairs with practically any recorder already installed rather than only with a new one. The body is metal and IP67 rated, so an outdoor wall or a soffit is a normal place to put it.

What it does

  • 2MP CMOS sensor, 1920 × 1080 maximum resolution
  • 1080p at 25/30 fps over TVI, AHD or CVI; PAL/NTSC on CVBS
  • Four signals switchable on the camera — TVI, AHD, CVI, CVBS
  • Smart IR with up to 25 m infra-red range
  • 0.01 Lux minimum illumination (F2.0, AGC on), and 0 Lux with the IR on
  • Digital WDR with BLC and HLC for backlit doorways and shopfronts
  • ICR true day/night switching; auto or manual white balance
  • Fixed 2.8 mm lens — about 101° horizontal, 60° vertical, 122° diagonal (3.6 mm and 6 mm versions exist if you need a narrower, longer view)
  • Metal housing, IP67 rated against dust and rain
  • 70 mm across × 137.8 mm long, about 260 g
  • 12 V DC, maximum 3 W — a small power supply runs several
  • Rated −40 °C to 60 °C, humidity 90% or less

Who it suits

This is the camera for a building that already has CCTV cabling and a Turbo HD or hybrid DVR — a shop, a warehouse, a plaza, a house wired five or ten years ago. Swapping an old 720p or D1 analogue camera for this one doubles or quadruples the detail on the same wire, at a fraction of what re-cabling the building for IP would cost. It is also the sane choice for a long run: coax carries video several hundred metres without the switch and the power budget an IP camera needs. If you are starting from bare walls and want audio, analytics and remote viewing, a PoE IP camera is the better buy — tell us which situation you are in and we will say so plainly.

Fitting it

One coax run for video and one pair for 12 V power back to the DVR position, or a single siamese cable that carries both. Set the output type on the camera to match your recorder before you close the housing — TVI for a Hikvision Turbo HD DVR, and AHD or CVI if the recorder is another brand. The bracket is part of the camera, so an outdoor wall or the underside of a soffit needs nothing more than a drill and a weatherproof joint at the cable entry. Send us a photograph of your existing DVR and we will tell you whether this camera will work on it before you order.

Warranty and delivery

Warranty on this item is Hikvision's, handled through their authorised service centre — dotpk.pk does not give a warranty of its own, and the product page and your invoice both say so. Where a claim is genuinely ours (a wrong or damaged item) we cover the courier both ways; otherwise the delivery charge is yours. A return has to be raised within 24 hours of delivery and needs an unboxing video, which is why we ask you to film opening the parcel. Orders inside Lahore placed before the afternoon cut-off go out for same-day delivery. Everywhere else in Pakistan is courier, and cash on delivery or bank transfer are both accepted. If you are buying several units for a site, contact us for wholesale rates rather than ordering at the listed price.

Common questions

Do you offer cash on delivery?
Yes. Cash on delivery is available across most of Pakistan and is how the majority of our orders are paid. A small number of areas are excluded because our couriers do not offer it there; if your city is one of them the checkout will say so and offer bank transfer instead. A few large or fragile items are bank transfer only, and their product pages say so before you add them to a cart.
How long does delivery take?

The estimate for each product is shown on its page and again at checkout, counted in working days from when we confirm the order. Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi are normally at the faster end. Remote areas take longer, and the whole courier network slows down around Eid.

What does delivery cost?
The delivery charge is shown in your cart and at checkout before you confirm anything. Where a free-delivery threshold applies, the cart tells you how much more you would need to add to reach it.
Are your products genuine?
Yes. We buy from authorised distributors rather than the grey market. That matters for two practical reasons: the manufacturer warranty is real, and the firmware is the manufacturer's own rather than a modified build.
What warranty do your products carry?
The manufacturer's. The period is shown on every product page before you buy, because it genuinely differs by item, and it is printed on your invoice too. A small number of accessories carry none. dotpk.pk does not add a warranty of its own on top — every claim goes to the brand's authorised service centre in Pakistan, and we will tell you which one and help you through it.
Can I return an item?
Yes, for a defective, damaged or incorrect item. There are two deadlines and they are different: report the problem within 24 hours of delivery, then return the product within 7 days. The packaging must not be damaged and the product must not be damaged, and it has to come back complete with every accessory. We do not accept returns for a change of mind — ask us before ordering if you are unsure which camera you need. Something that fails later is a warranty matter rather than a return.
Do you provide installation?
No. We supply the equipment; we do not fit it. What we will do is help you work out what you need — how many cameras, where they go, whether PoE or Wi-Fi, how much storage — and tell you what a good installation looks like so you can judge the quotes you get. We can often point you to an installer locally. Message us on WhatsApp with the building and what you are trying to see.
